How the templates work
A template is a normal chart saved in a link. When you open it, the pie chart maker loads the labels, numbers, palette, style, hole size and background from that link. Nothing is stored on a server, and editing your copy doesn't change the template for anyone else.
Opening a template replaces the chart you were working on in the editor. Download that one first if you want to keep it.
The numbers in the templates are made up to look realistic. They're not real statistics, so don't quote them.
FAQ
Are these pie chart templates free for commercial use?
Yes. Everything made with Chartty, templates included, is released under CC0. You can use it in paid work, books, client decks and products without asking or giving credit.
Can I download a template as a PowerPoint or Excel file?
No. You download the finished chart as PNG, JPEG or SVG and place it in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Word or Excel like any other picture. SVG stays sharp at any size.
How do I add more slices to a template?
Click Add Segment under the rows. In Percentages mode the new slice gets whatever is left to reach 100%, so lower another slice first to make room.
Can I share my edited chart?
Yes. The Embed button gives you a link and a code snippet. Anyone who opens the link sees your chart and can make their own copy of it.
